boAt has just launched an addition to their popular Rockerz series. These are special as they come with Active Noise Cancellation. The all-new boAt Rockers 551 ANC comes with 40 mm drivers, ANC up to 35dB, and ENx technology for clearer calls.
They also feature custom sound EQ that lets you choose from 2 modes, an IPX5 rating and ASAP charging feature. They have some great specs at their price. Let’s talk about them in detail.
Key Features
Rockerz 551 comes with 40 mm audio drivers that deliver a powerful sound. They come with Sound Equalizers, which give you access to two modes. The signature mode features extra bass, while the balanced mode has clear vocals and a balanced sound output.
These headphones’ main feature is Active Noise Cancellation. They can cancel out environmental sounds up to 35 decibels. They also have an Ambient mode if you want to be aware of your surroundings. You can activate ANC by pressing the ANC button.
It comes with ENx technology for smoother calls. It also has a voice assistant feature to access Google Voice Assistant and Siri.
Build and Design
Rockerz 551 ANC has an over-the-ear design with large ear cups for better comfort and longer use. They have an entirely matte finish with subtle boat branding on both ear cups with a gloss finish.
Ear cups are fully rotatable with soft cushioning. These headphones also come with an adjustable, cushioned headband so they can adjust according to your head shape. They are foldable, which adds extra points to portability.
You’ll get access to all buttons on the side of the ear cups, such as the volume rockers, power button, and ANC button.
Connectivity and Battery
Rockers 551 comes with Bluetooth 5.0 support. They have Dual Device Connection so that you can connect them to two devices at the same time. They switch depending on which device is playing audio.
boAt claims to give a playback of 100 hours with these headphones on a single charge. They also come with an ASAP charging feature, and you get 10 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging.

boAt Rockerz 551 ANC launched on April 24th. These headphones are now available to purchase at the launch price of Rs. 2999. They are available on Flipkart, Amazon, and boAt’s official website.
They are available in two colour variants – Stellar Black and Sage Green.
