Realme Buds Air 5 Pro are now official news in China. The company announced its launch along with its new Realme 11 series. For now, they’ll be launching in China, but it won’t be long before they launch in the rest of the world.
They are currently listed on the official Realme China website. They will be available for pre-order starting from May 23 and will officially launch on May 31.

Design and Build
In terms of their design and build, Realme Buds Air 5 Pro are most likely to look like their predecessor, Realme Buds Air 3. As per the sneak preview photos, the earbuds have a cylinder-shaped stem with microphones with a cutout for microphones at the top. The ear tips have silicone ear tips like previous models.
The charging case is also much like the Realme Buds 3, with a pebble-shaped design with an LED light indicator in the front of the case to indicate battery and charging.
Specs and Features
Realme Buds Air 5 Pro comes with 11 mm dynamic audio drivers, also known as woofers, that are specialised speakers for low-frequency sounds. They also come with 6 mm secondary drivers for higher-frequency sounds.
The earbuds have a frequency response range of 20-40KHz for acoustic sound and carry spatial sound effects for an immersive audio experience. They also have different codec support for high-quality audio support like AAC, SBC, and LDAC.
Users will also get the option to customise and equalise sound through the “Realme Link’ app. This will also give you the option to change certain features according to your preference.
Buds Air 5 Pro also comes with a low-latency gaming mode that supports a latency of around 40 ms.
ANC and Calling
Realme Buds Air 5 Pro comes with Active Noise Cancellation and supports a noise cancellation range of up to 50 dB.
It supports 4000 Hz ultra-wideband noise reduction. The earbuds come with 6 in-built mics for AI deep noise reduction and cancellation during calls. They also come with ENC with beamforming noise reduction and DNN to reduce background noise.
Battery Life
Realme Buds Air 5 Pro has a battery life of 460 mAh, while the individual buds have a battery life of 60 mAh. They offer a battery life of 40 hours with the case and playback of 11 hours on the buds.
They take around 2 hours to fully charge and support USB Type-C charging.
Pricing and Variants
Their current pricing in China is CNY 399, which is approximately around Rs 4700. We are expecting a similar price for their Indian launch.
Realme Buds Air 5 Pro is available in two colour variants – Starry Night Dark (black) and The City of Sunrise (pale white).
Expected Launch in India
There has been no insight from Realme about their timeline for launch of Realme 11 series and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro in India. Now that Realme has announced an official date for their launch in China, we expect them to announce a launch date for India in the upcoming months. Keep a lookout for announcements.
