JBL, the audio giant, has finally launched two new Truly Wireless Earbuds. These earbuds are a part of their TUNE series and are called TUNE Buds and TUNE Beams.
The earbuds share a lot of similar features and specifications. Let’s discuss these earbuds in detail and see what they have to offer.
Design and Comfort
JBL Tune Buds TWS are spherical-shaped bud-style earbuds without a stem. On the other hand, JBL Tune Beam has a stem-shaped design. The buds are designed in a way to ensure isolation from your surroundings. This helps ensure excellent sound performance and room for punchy bass.
The buds are ergonomically designed to fit perfectly inside your ear, all for a secure and comfortable fit. The buds also help enhance sound quality by blocking off your ear from outside noises.
Features and Specifications
The earbuds come with 10mm audio drivers, which deliver JBL’s signature sound. You also get the latest version of Bluetooth 5.3 with Low Energy support, and helps conserve battery. The Bluetooth technology also supports low power consumption while delivering audio at high quality. It also delivers audio separately to each bud, so you can conveniently use mono mode with them.
The most attractive feature of these earbuds is that they support Active Noise Cancellation along with Smart Ambient. This helps you choose whether you want to tune out the world to focus on your music or still be aware of your surroundings.
These earbuds come with JBL Headphones App support. The app helps you personalise your listening experience through customizability. You also get to customise different functions such as touch control gestures and get access to features such as Find your earbuds, controlling environmental noise, and switching to Smart Audio and Video modes.
Tune Buds and Beam come with 4-Mic Technology for clear calls. These earbuds are equipped with dual microphones on each earbud, so you get to have crisp and clear calls. An additional VoiceAware feature lets you choose how much of your voice you want to hear back.
Both Earbuds come with IP54 water resistance and dust proofing. So you can rest assured that water splashes or working out won’t damage your earbuds.
You get up to 48 hours of battery life on the Tune Buds and Tune Beam earbuds. The battery life is split between 36 hours on the case and 12 hours on the individual earbuds. With Active Noise Cancellation turned on, they are expected to last you around 30 hours with the case and 10 hours on the earbuds.
Users also get a fast charging feature where just 15 minutes of charging will get you up to 4 hours of playtime.
Price and Availability
The new buds from the Tune Series can be availed at a special introductory price. JBL Tune Buds are available at a launch price of Rs 5,499, while Tune Beam are available for Rs 6,499. Both these earbuds are available in 4 colour variants – Black, Blue, Purple, and White. They can be purchased via Amazon India or JBL’s official website.
