boAt has added another neckband to its product portfolio with the launch of the boAt Rockerz 255 touch neckband in India. They are an addition to the Rockerz series.
They offer full touch controls and a battery backup of 30 hours. They were specifically designed for convenience and durability.
Sound Quality
boAt Rockerz 255 touch comes with 10 mm Dynamic Graphene drivers to deliver that excellent boAt signature sound. These drivers are said to enhance sound along with producing scraper trebles and punchier bass.
boAt Rockerz 255 touch also come equipped with Spatial Bionic Sound by Dirac Virtuo. According to boAt’s website, Spatial Bionic Sound creates an immersive surround sound experience and is accompanied by drivers that are fine-tuned for 3-dimensional accuracy.
This audio experience is well-suited for gamers, movie buffs, and music lovers.
Touch Controls
Most neckbands offer control options like playback or volume rockers in the form of buttons on the neckbands. boAt Rockerz 255 touch is one of the few neck bands in India to offer touch control and swipe functionality.
boAt Rockerz 255 touch has a touch control panel on the neckband that can be used by taps and swipes. You can control playback, change tracks, switch modes, adjust volume, activate voice assistant, and answer calls.
A horizontal swipe can help you change songs while swiping up and down will let you increase or decrease the volume. The touch control panel also comes with a ring beside it. Double tapping on it will help you switch modes from Signature sound to spatial audio mode.

The neckband also features ENx technology for clearer calls. It offers to pick up surrounding sound and filters it through intelligent noise reduction to only pick up your voice for clearer voice and video calls.
The neckband offers BEAST mode like in other boAt products. This offers a lag-free experience, mainly while gaming, and performs with a 40ms low latency mode.
Rockerz 255 touch also has a magnetic power on and off feature. This functionality lets you turn off your earphones when you attach them together. They turn on when you separate the earbuds. This adds to the convenience and lets you save battery.
The neckband features an IPX5 water and sweat-resistant rating, which makes it okay for light water splashes and workouts.
Battery Life and Charging
boAt Rockerz 255 touch has a 200 mAh battery. The brand claims you’ll get up to 30 hours of playtime on a single charge, and the device takes about an hour to fully charge.
The neckband uses a type C Port for charging. You also get an ASAP charging feature that promises to give you 10 hours of playback time with just 10 minutes of charging time.
