  • Sound Equalizers
  • ENx for clear calls

Build & Design

boAt Immortal has a versatile design that can be used for both gaming and everyday use. The headband has a metal build which makes these headphones sturdy. I have had them for some time, and they are not lightweight, but it’s a compromise I can make for good build quality.

They come with good padding on the ear cups and headband, which makes them comfortable. The headphones also feature a detachable mic, a remote control button, and a USB type A plug.

Features

boAt Immortal comes with Dolby Atmos and boAt plugin labs support. This software lets you customize a lot of functions. Most importantly, they feature sound equalizers, so you can fine-tune them to your liking. They also have ENx for clearer calls and a dual-mic setup.

Sound Quality

Their sound quality blew me away. They were the first headphones I tested out, and they set the benchmark really high for all the headphones coming after.

They have an unbeatable sound with incredible highs, mids, and lows. If you’re a gamer and someone who consumes a lot of multimedia, these headphones will give you the best of both worlds.

These headphones will easily power you through everything. I was able to pick up all the details perfectly while gaming.

Mic Quality

boAt Immortal has a dual mic setup; you get an in-built mic and a detachable mic. The quality of both of them was excellent. I enjoyed the mic quality on them, and they didn’t pick up much background noise. You’ll easily be able to hear your friends when playing games.

What Sets Them Apart?

Their versatility in design and sound sets them apart. They have a versatile design that works with both gaming and everyday use. After my hands-on analysis, I can say they are great for both gaming and multimedia use.

When Should You Get Them?

If you’re looking for powerful headphones that would power you through all your tasks, these are great.

Pros

2. Comic Byte Oberon

Cosmic Byte Oberon

Brief Overview

Cosmic Byte Oberon is a popular gaming headphone, and rightly so. Some of their features include 7.1 surround sound, Spectra RGB lights, and powerful 50 mm drivers.

Why Do They Have Their Position on The List?

Their sound quality is one of the best among all the products on the list. They are also lightweight and comfy, earning the No. 2 spot on our list.

Comic Byte Oberon

Comic Byte Oberon

  • 50 mm sound drivers
  • 7.1 surround sound
  • RGB lights
  • 2.2 meter braided cable

Build & Design

Build & Design – Cosmic Byte has a fantastic design that is well-suited for gamers. You’ll find RGB lights that change colors and come with a metallic mesh design on top. I really liked the design.

The headphones were still comfortable and lightweight to wear when I was testing them out. They come with good padding on the ear cups and headrest.

The ear cups were big enough to fit comfortably over my ears without pressing down.

Sound Quality

In my experience, the sound quality of these headphones was great and on par with Redgear Cosmo 7.1, the best-sounding headphones on this list. They have a really punchy bass, and I could feel everything in my ear.

The trebles and the mids were also good, and I could easily pick up all the tiny details in the games I played. They are also not too loud, so there is no sound leakage.

Features

Oberon comes with an attached controller on the wire to adjust the light and volume. They have software support which opens a lot of doors. It gives a lot of customization options which is great.

It also comes with a longer wire with a USB type A port. The brand also provides an additional headphone jack to connect to your phone, which is a great addition.

The mic on them is detachable, so you can easily remove it when it’s not in use.

Mic Quality

I tested the mic out with many things going on in the background. The quality was decent. It did pick up some noise, and there was a slight distortion in sound, but it’s still usable.

What Sets Them Apart?

Their form factor is a huge differentiator. A lot of headphones have excellent sound quality but are not as comfortable to wear. Hence you can’t wear them for long. Oberon compromises neither on comfort nor sound quality.

When Should You Get Them?

If you’re looking for a comfortable and lightweight pair of headphones, these will be a great option. They also don’t compromise on design or sound quality.

Pros

Comfort – Large ear cups with good padding
Sound – good sound and detailing
Design – RGB lights with a metallic design

Cons

Mic – slight distortion
Build – plastic build; handle with care

3. Redgear Cosmo 7.1

Redgear Cosmo 7.1

Brief Overview

Redgear Cosmo 7.1 is one of the most popular gaming headphones on Amazon, with many great reviews. They have great features like 7.1 surround sound and powerful 50 mm drivers.

Redgear also claims they are programmable with software support that lets you customise certain functions.

Why Do They Have Their Position on The List?

I liked their sound quality the best of all the headphones I’ve tested. They are lower on the list because they have some cons; they are bulky and uncomfortable to wear.

Redgear Cosmo 7.1

Redgear Cosmo 7.1

  • 50 mm sound drivers
  • 7.1 surround sound
  • RGB light
  • Software support

Build & Design

Redgear Cosmo 7.1 has everything you’d expect to see in a typical pair of gaming headphones. They feature a metallic arch above the headband, which adds to the design. They also come with RGB lights similar to Cosmo Byte Oberon.

Cosmo 7.1 has large ear cups with thick padding. This made them slightly uncomfortable to wear as the padding was pressing down on my ears. The headset has elastics on the side, so you can adjust it to the size of your head.

Sound Quality

Cosmo 7.1 has impressive sound quality. They had the most detail out of all the headphones I’ve tested. The bass and treble on them are perfect. The treble picks up everything inside the game. I was able to hear everything perfectly during testing.

The only con with the sound is that the headphones were somewhat loud, and I also noticed some sound leakage.

Features

You get an insulated wire with an attached controller and a USB type A connector.

Redgear also comes with software support which lets you customise some functions.

Mic Quality

In my research, I found that Redgear promises a noise-cancelling mic with these, and they did not disappoint. I used the mic, and the quality was great, with minimal background noise.

If you’re considering these headphones for playing multiplayer games or streaming, they are a great choice. You won’t face any issues.

What Sets Them Apart?

The detailing with the sound on Cosmo 7.1 is not something you’ll find with other headphones. You also get software support that gives you access to sound equalisers and features various presets.

When Should You Get it?

If you’re a hardcore gamer and your priority is sound quality before anything, then these are a great option. These will enhance your gaming experience and help you pick up all the proper details inside the games you’re playing.

Pros

Sound – great detailing with gaming
Design – Unique design with metallic arch and RGB
Features – sound equalisers and different preset options

Cons

Comfort – Bulky build with thick padding; uncomfortable
Multimedia – Not optimised for multimedia use

4. EKSA E7000 FENRIR

EKSA E7000 Fenrir

Brief Overview

EKSA E7000 FENRIR is probably the most unique-looking headphones on our list. They come with some great features, such as monochrome lighting, 7.1 surround sound, and 50 mm sound drivers.

Why Do They Have Their Position on The List?

Their sound quality isn’t bad by any means. However, they couldn’t compare to the sound quality of our top 3 headphones. This is why EKSA had to be in the 4th position.

EKSA E7000 Fenrir

EKSA E7000 Fenrir

  • 50 mm sound drivers
  • Rotatable microphone
  • 7.1 surround sound
  • 3.5 mm jack
  • Monochrome lighting

Build & Design

EKSA E7000 FENRIR has a unique design, but you’ll find LED lights instead of RGB. A werewolf-like design is featured on the ear cups. There is good padding on the ear cups. I found these fairly comfortable to wear.

Features

The mic is 120-degree rotatable, which is great because you can easily move it out of the way when it’s not in use. You’ll also find a USB type A cable and a 3.5 mm jack to connect these to your phone.

They also come with controls that you’ll find on the ear cups themselves. This was a really convenient feature.

Sound Quality

Their sound quality is decent. You’ll get punchy bass. I found it suitable for both gaming and multimedia use. However, the mids and highs were just okay.

If you like playing games like Valorant or Counter-Strike, these headphones won’t give you the best experience. In my experience, the footsteps and background noises weren’t as clear.

Mic Quality

EKSA claims the mic has noise-reduction capabilities. However, while testing out the mic, I found a lot of distortion. My voice wasn’t clear, and there was a lot of distortion.

So I wouldn’t recommend them if you play a lot of multiplayer games.

What Sets Them Apart?

Their unique werewolf design with the green monochrome lights sets them apart. They are also pretty comfortable to wear.

When Should You Get Them?

You should get them only if you really like the design. The sound quality is good, but there are so many better options on the list that you should consider instead.

Pros

Design – Unique design with monochrome lights
Comfort – soft cushioning and padding
Features – 3.5 mm jack, 7.1 surround sound

Cons

Sound – not optimised for gaming; details missing
Mic – distorted sound

5. Zebronics Zeb Crusher

Zebronics Zeb Crusher

Brief Overview

Zebronics Zeb Crusher has a unique graphic design that you won’t see with other headphones. These headphones come with Windows software support and 7.1 surround sound. The brand also claims they feature boosted bass.

Why Do They Have Their Position on The List?

These headphones didn’t stand out compared to other headphones. The sound quality was also not up to the mark in comparison, which is why they earned the last spot on my list.

Zebronics Zeb Crusher

Zebronics Zeb Crusher

  • 50 mm sound drivers
  • RGB LED lights
  • 7.1 surround sound
  • 2-metre braided cable

Build & Design

Zeb Crusher’s design didn’t stand out when I compared them to the other headphones on the list. These headphones have a masked figure, but the light element is minimal; there’s only a small light strip on the ear cups. In my opinion, an RGB-focused design would’ve been much better.

It comes with padding on the ear cups and the headband, but they weren’t as soft as other headphones. I couldn’t wear them for too long.

Features

Zeb Crusher comes with a detachable mic which is a plus. These headphones also feature a long braided wire with a USB A port that you can easily connect to your PC or gaming console.

Sound Quality

I noticed the sound quality was not up to the mark when I used the headphones. The bass is not punchy enough to capture all the explosions and sound effects inside the game.

Zeb Crusher are equipped with 50 mm sound drivers, but they still couldn’t produce good sound quality. The trebles and mids were okay. I was able to hear all the footsteps inside the game. The sound won’t be crystal clear, but the quality is decent enough to track what is happening inside the game.

I tested them out with Call of Duty and Modern Warfare; the experience was just average. The sound quality wasn’t as great as I expected it to be.

Mic Quality

I was surprised by their mic quality; I did not have any expectations going, but the mic performed well. I had a lot of background noise, but it cut off all the background noise and only picked up my voice.

What Sets Them Apart?

Their mic quality is excellent. The design is also not something you’ll find with other headphones. If you like the design, then you can consider getting them.

When Should You Get it?

Honestly, I would not recommend getting them if you’re a gamer. The sound quality is average, and you’ll find better options on this list. These are a good option if you need headphones with a good microphone.

Pros

Design – Unique design with RGB
Mic – Clear sound with less background noise

Cons

Sound – sound quality is average
Comfort – padding not soft; uncomfortable
